Professional volleyball men’s OK Financial Group and Woori Card conduct a trade.
OK Financial Group announced on the 26th that it had agreed to a one-on-one trade in exchange for outside heater Song Hee-chae (31, 190 cm) from Woori Card and for outside heater Song Myeong-geun (30, 195 cm). Woori Card made another trade after sending setter Hwang Seung-bin (31, 183 cm) to KB Insurance the day before and bringing in outside heater Han Seong-jeong (27, 195 cm).
Through this trade,스포츠토토 Song Hee-chae will return to his home team after about 5 years. Song Hee-chae was a founding member of OK Financial Group and played an active part in 5 seasons from the 2013-2014 season to the 2017-2018 season.
Song Hee-chae, who showed stable receiving, defense and attack, played a big role in helping OK Financial Group win the championship match for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016. In the 2022-2023 season, she played in 31 matches and 104 sets, and showed strength in defense and receiving, ranking 10th in the receiving category (36.42%), leading the team to advance to the postseason.
Song Myeong-geun is also a founding member of OK Financial Group. Until the 2022-2023 season, he played 9 seasons only at OK Financial Group, and left a strong impression by winning the 2015 championship MVP. In the 2022-2023 season, she played 53 sets in 17 matches after being discharged from the military, recording an attack success rate of 51.87%.
Through this trade, OK Financial Group and Woori Card filled each other’s team’s needs. OK Financial Group added a sense of stability to the team by recruiting an outside hitter for both offense and defense. Woori Card is planning to fill the gap left by Na Gyeong-bok (KB Insurance), who left after last season, by recruiting Myeong-geun Song.
Through this trade, officials from both clubs said, “It is a trade that fills the gaps in the team, and we expect it to be of great help in increasing the power of the next season.” He continued, “I would like to express my gratitude to the players who are leaving the team for their dedication and look forward to showing a good performance in the new team.”
